Emma's Background
Emma’s expertise and passion for all things posture comes from her training as a professional dancer, which took her through Alexander technique studies also at Drama school. Having had 15 years in the musical theatre world and suffering personal back injuries needing treatment, she experienced varied treatments from physiotherapists, chiropractors and osteopaths.
This led her to retrain as a Physical therapist specialising in backs. Starting out in a top Osteopathic clinic in Harley Street Emma has nearly 25 years under her belt as a therapist. This blend of personal experience of injuries and the limitations and pain they can cause alongside her training in anatomy & physiology, sports injury and rehab, biomechanics and later ergonomics as a consultant with Back in Action; plus working with thousands of patients in her clinics in London and Surrey make her uniquely qualified in what she does.
As her clients will confirm, in fact the staff in one of the finance houses in London who she has looked after for 18+ years call her…
“The Posture Guru”
She has worked long term with many companies large and small, to bring her own individual style of help and support to them.
